Since my swirl brushes have been the most downloaded Photoshop brushes on texturemate, I figured I should make another set! This time, these swirl and spiral brushes are higher resolution as well; all 2500 pixels. These brushes make great background flares and finishing touches for your design project. The download contains a .abr brush file that can be used in Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Gimp. Remember my new software utility, abrMate if you use a different piece of design software besides Adobe Photoshop CS5 or Gimp and need the original .png of each brush for your own use. Just like eveything on texturemate, these brushes are completely free including commercial use!

I'm using Windows Vista (Photoshop 7.0). I import the .abr file into the brushes folder, but I get an error message saying the file is not compatible with my version of PS. Any ideas? These brushes are amazing, would love to use them! Thanks!

Hello, sorry this was one of the last brushes I created with CS5 and started making them in 7.0 so that they will be compatible with older versions of Photoshop. What you can do is download abrMate and export the brushes to .png's and then use my guide to re-define them as brushes in Adobe Photoshop 7. If I get time to remake these brushes in Adobe Photoshop 7, I will be sure to post them!

Hi there, the brushes look great. Will they work with CS2?
