Rusty Metal 1 Free Texture Pack

Your rating: None Average: 5 (27 votes)

Here are 15 textures that I recently photographed of rusty metal. I picked some of the nicer ones for this texture pack. They are all high resolution, 3888 x 2592 pixels. As always, these textures are available individually on the site if you do not want the entire pack. Otherwise, download them and let me know how they work for you!

Hi, I love your textures,

Hi, I love your textures, especially these rusts.

I would like to know how you take the photos (settings, generally) and what with, (camera), also where do you find your rusts?

I find mine in industrial areas of town plus I got some gorgeous ones down at a marina, the salt air is great for us texture hounds.

Hello! I mainly use my Canon

Hello!

I mainly use my Canon Rebel XTi for my texture photos outdoors. The settings really depend on what I am shooting, but a combination of ISO speed, aperture size, and exposure are the main things. Exposure usually has to be quick enough because I rarely use a tripod, I just walk around snapping shots. I try to turn down the F-stop enough to get any depth of field I may need as well. I'm no pro photography, but this is really helping me learn!

Yes, industrial areas are rust and grunge texture havens!
